Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Snap Tutor is operated by Snap & Tutor LLC ("we", "us", "our"). These terms form the agreement between you and Snap & Tutor LLC when you use snapntutor.com and the Snap Tutor app.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or continuing to use Snap Tutor, you agree to these terms. If you are a parent or guardian setting up profiles for children, you confirm you are of legal age and are responsible for the account and everything done under it. If you are signing up for a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. What Snap Tutor provides

Snap Tutor lets you photograph homework, get a worked solution, and have an AI tutor teach the same problem step by step in your chosen language, with progress tracking and parent reports. It is a learning aid — it does not replace a teacher, and it is not professional educational, medical or legal advice.

3. Your account

Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Each paid plan covers one family: 6-month and 1-year plans allow up to 4 child profiles, Lifetime allows unlimited profiles. Accounts may not be shared beyond your household or resold.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Snap Tutor for anything unlawful, fraudulent or abusive, including spam;
  • upload content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes someone's intellectual property;
  • upload illegal, hateful, violent or sexual content, or attempt to generate it;
  • attempt to jailbreak, bypass safety filters, probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or its security;
  • reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the service, or circumvent plan limits.

5. AI-generated content

Snap Tutor uses artificial intelligence. Outputs may sometimes be incomplete or wrong — always check the work before a child copies it into their book, and do not rely on it for regulated professional decisions. You are responsible for what you upload and for how you use the results, and you confirm you have the rights to the homework, photos and text you submit. You keep ownership of what you upload; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. We may filter, refuse or remove content, and suspend accounts that repeatedly break these rules. Rights holders can contact support@snapntutor.com to request a takedown.

6. How AI is used — no automated decisions about people

Snap Tutor is an educational study aid. The AI explains schoolwork: it reads a photographed question, writes out worked steps, teaches the method and reads it aloud. That is the whole of what it does.

Snap Tutor does not make, and is not designed to materially influence, any decision about a person. It does not grade or assess a student for any official purpose, does not produce school marks, transcripts or certificates, and is never used for admissions, placement, streaming, employment, credit, insurance, eligibility, health, legal or any other decision about an individual. Practice summaries and progress views inside the app are informal study feedback for the parent only — they are not assessments, and they carry no weight outside the app.

No profiling of children is performed, and no automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is made. A parent, teacher or other human always reviews the output and decides what to do with it.

7. Our intellectual property

We own the Snap Tutor software, lesson design, branding and documentation. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under the plan you bought.

8. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Monthly and 1-year plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled; Lifetime is a single payment. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Our refund policy explains the money-back window.

9. Service availability

We work hard to keep Snap Tutor running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product develops.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated serious policy violations. You can close your account at any time. After termination we keep your data for a short period so you can request an export, then delete or anonymise it as described in our privacy notice.

11. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you upload, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and disputes go to the courts of Kuwait. You may not transfer your rights without our consent; we may transfer ours in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
